My Jade Dance for piano solo will be performed, once again, by the incomparable Max Lifchitz. He’ll be recording the work later this year on the North\South label. Jade Dance was inspired by George Anthiel’s Ballet Mechanique. The work is as difficult to play as it gets, but Max Lifchitz is not only crazy enough to try, but he has successfully navigated its rocky shoals before.
